I teach 60 minute Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes, each having a theme that weaves throughout the Pranayama (breath), Asana (movement) and Dyana (meditation), and gives the student a focus and purpose for the practise.
I give hands on adjustments, consider every mind-body in front of me as unique, and never judge anyone who joins my class.
It is an honour to teach such a beautiful practise with such a long and rich history.
And a privilege to share a discipline that can have such profound effects on the mat, in the moment, and off of the mat, out into our everyday lives.
I teach group classes, in and around East/North London and I hold 1:1 private classes at my home in E17, London, or can travel to you.
Please contact me here if you would like to know more about booking a private with me.
It’s been nearly 20 year since I first stepped onto a yoga mat, and I haven’t looked back since.
Yoga become an anchor for me through the good, and the bad.
If I was stressed, I’d roll out the mat, if I was unsure about a choice, I’d roll out the mat, if I needed grounding, uplifting, loving, mat, mat, mat.
I always enjoyed exploring the connection, and disconnection, of my mind and body, as a theatre making student, moving around a studio and allowing creativity to flow through my body, into my mind and out of me.
And now, 20 years later as a Wellbeing Practitioner I continue to honour and strengthen my mind-body connection.
I believe yoga is a super accessible way to find and play with this mind-body flow.
Coming back home to my body is a continuous cycle.
Living in this busy, media infused, often disconnected world, I often get pulled out of my body and into to my mind, leading to anxiety.
When I am in a state of “mind-body” I am calm, inspired and confident. I can make full body decisions, I’m content and my heart feels expanded.
Now, I have spent time honing my teaching of the various elements of Yoga, like Breath, Meditation, Philosophy, and Movement, I hope to guide others through their reconnection to their whole self, where mind and body are in tandem, and life feels like a dance and not a drudge.
